About Oh Mi Koho Coffee

The farm’s name ''Oh Mi Koho'' means “Companionship” in the language of the Koho ethnic minority. Located in Dinh Trang Hoa commune, Di Linh District, Lam Dong Province, Vietnam, Oh Mi Ko Ho farm is a cooperative of six households cultivating coffee organically.

A few years ago (2018), Oh Mi Koho’s farmers were the first ones to have the chance to leave their village to learn about the organic farming models in other regions of Vietnam.

With their coffee-growing experiences and understanding of the importance of conserving soil, natural resources, and the environment, Koho farmers decided to cultivate their coffee using organic methods.

Since 2018, they have transitioned from monoculture farming to natural and organic farming. When cultivating and producing green coffee beans, the Koho people always keep the natural environment and Koho village's traditional values in mind.

  • Sincere: We recognize the importance of public health. We always consider the health of our family and community while farming and producing green coffee beans. If our family can enjoy clean coffee, so can the rest of the community. With that goal in mind, we decided to produce this unique type of coffee: organic coffee.
  • Natural: We practice organic farming without the use of synthetic chemicals. The coffee trees will absorb natural nutrients from the healthy soil to produce green coffee beans with a distinct flavor of Di Linh, Vietnam's mountainous region.
  • Original: The natural harvesting process (picking the ripe coffee cherries, drying the beans under direct sunlight, and so on) will contribute to the enhancement of the natural flavor of  our coffee beans.
